Joe Rousseau

Joe is a true entrepreneur and visionary at heart. He sees opportunities others miss and has built his career on following through on what he sees.

Born in Jamaica and raised in Miami, Joe attended Gulliver Prep and played collegiate football at Catawba College before returning home to start his career. He began in international trade, running a Caribbean-export business, and turned to construction in the early 2000s, developing spec homes on his own and falling in love with the craft. What started as a one-builder operation has grown, almost exclusively through referrals, into Rousseau Construction.

Nearly three decades later, Joe is still on every jobsite, in the details, and reachable at every phase of every project. His approach is straightforward — build it the way you’d build it for your own family, deliver what you said you’d deliver, and stay close to the people who trusted you. Many of those clients have become lasting friends, and many continue to refer new projects to him long after their home was delivered.

Jojo Rousseau

Jojo serves as Principal and Co-Founder of Rousseau Development Group, the firm’s investment platform for ground-up residential development. He leads capital strategy and growth across the firm, oversees development, and works alongside Joe across the construction side of the business, bringing the underwriting and execution discipline he developed in real estate finance into every project the firm takes on.

Jojo brings nearly a decade of institutional real estate experience, having contributed to over $3.5 billion of transactions across multifamily, ground-up development, condominium, marina, industrial, and other opportunistic strategies. He serves as Vice President of Investments at JSB Capital Group, where he runs deals end to end across the full investment lifecycle. He began his career at JLL Capital Markets, working on investment sales across South Florida. Along the way, he earned his Florida General Contractor’s license, pairing the discipline of his finance career with the credentials of the construction side he grew up around.

Jojo attended Gulliver Prep and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Economics and Finance. He grew up on Rousseau jobsites, tagging along with Joe to the projects he was building, long before he ever thought of joining the business.

Regina Rousseau

Regina is an interior designer whose work spans the full scope of designing a home. She works alongside Briggs Edward Solomon, one of South Florida’s most celebrated interior designers, whose work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Galerie, and Veranda.

Regina is an artist at her core. She approaches every home as a complete composition — every material, every finish, every piece of furniture chosen with the architecture, the light, and the way the home will be lived in. Her work is defined by a visionary eye for color, texture, and proportion, paired with the discipline to see each space resolved as a singular, considered whole.

Regina’s portfolio spans private residences in Miami, the Bahamas, Colorado, and Texas, from primary homes to retreats and waterfront getaways.

Within Rousseau, Regina is available to clients who want her involvement on their home, and she supports the firm’s design coordination across every project.
