Our Story

Built one home at a time, for more than thirty years.

Rousseau Construction was founded by Joe Rousseau, a licensed general contractor who has spent his career building luxury residential homes across South Florida. Three decades in, the firm's reputation has been built the way our homes are — slowly, deliberately, and one project at a time.

Today, Joe is joined by his son Jojo, who spent more than a decade on the institutional side of real estate, underwriting and executing over $3 billion of multifamily, condominium, industrial, and ground-up residential development. Together, they bring the craftsmanship of a master builder and the discipline of an institutional operator under one roof.

We remain family-owned and family-run. Every project carries our name, and we treat it that way.

Our virtual prototyping workflows allow capital partners, architects, and private homeowners to walk through, feel, and inspect the structural framework of a Rousseau custom build. This eliminates execution blindspots, protects architectural intent, and prevents budget creep.

Joe founded Rousseau Construction more than thirty years ago and has personally led the construction of luxury residences across Coral Gables, Pinecrest, High Pines, South Miami, Coconut Grove, and Old Cutler Bay.

President

Jojo leads development, capital strategy, and growth at Rousseau Construction. He brings more than a decade of institutional real estate experience, having underwritten and executed over $3 billion of ground-up development.

Stephanie Fong

Director of Operations

Stephanie runs operations at Rousseau Construction and has been with the firm for five years. From estimating to billing to vendor management, she is the engine that keeps every project on track.
